Contract – I have to collect or use the information so I can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.

Information I collect
When you contact me about my services and as part of delivering behaviour consultations, I collect personal information such as your name, address, contact details, details about your dog (including behavioural history, health information, and veterinary records), and relevant lifestyle or household context. This information is used solely for the purpose of providing personalised, professional support for you and your dog and to carry out my services.
I collect or use the following information to provide the behavioural package for clients, for operation of client or customer accounts, to comply with legal requirements, and to deal with any queries, complaints or claims:
Names and contact details (email, phone)
Addresses
Third party information (that you disclose in your behaviour questionnaire or provided by your vet, such as family members or other relevant parties related to your dog’s care and welfare)
Payment details (purely related to the consultation package and/or any refunds)
Transaction data (including details about payments to and from you to myself, and details of products and services you have purchased from myself)
Any video recordings you may send of your dog
Correspondence
Your pet’s veterinary information and clinical history.
This company is hosted on the Squarespace.com platform. Your data may be stored through Squarespace.com’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace.com applications.
How I collect and store this information
Information is collected via information you submit via this website, telephone/video conversations with yourself, forms emailed to you after booking, information your vet provides, and through discussion during consultations.
I will store this data securely and hold it on a password-protected computer or otherwise and take all necessary steps that I can to protect any information you provide me with. However, I cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose online and I will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to my negligence or wilful default.
I will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, I consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which I process your personal data and whether I can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
By law I have to keep basic information about my clients including contact, identity, financial and transaction data for five years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
How I use this information
I will only use information that you provide to process your booking, provide you with the behaviour service, and contact yourself and your vets regarding your behaviour consultation, or any disputes. I may request to forward your information if we need to refer you on to another dog professional but only with your consent to do so. I will only disclose your personal information to third parties if I am under a legal duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with or meet any legal obligation.
